My daughter has the game and in order to go somewhere on the map you need the scooter.
Well where is the scooter?

You don’t need the scooter, you can walk anywhere pretty quickly. The scooter will get you there faster, but you’ll need to buy gas for it eventually, or at least win some gas at the arcade. Before you use the scooter, it is parked right outside of her little house. But if you leave it somewhere you’ll need to go to that place to get it again.

When you’re just starting out, it’s better not to use the scooter and to walk instead. It helps you know where things are and meet people that can help you.
